Lions Eye Bank of Delaware Valley is committed to enhancing a person’s quality of life by restoring or improving vision through corneal transplantation, medical research and education.

Each year in the United States, more than 50,000 people have their sight restored through cornea transplantation, and hundreds of thousands of others benefit from medical research and education made possible by donated eye tissue. Lions Eye Bank of Delaware Valley works 365 days a year to provide residents in Delaware, New Jersey, and southeast Pennsylvania with the highest-quality and safest cornea tissue available. Since 1957 we have helped coordinate more than 45,000 surgeries. We uphold the highest standards and work diligently to make the cornea transplant process as easy as possible for all our recipients.

Lions Eye Bank of Delaware Valley (LEBDV) is honored to be your source for information on the medical technology that is changing lives, the inspiring stories of the people who make such change possible and the expressions of thanks from grateful benefactors. Each year, these stories—and more—are published in the annual LEBDV newsletter, forSight.

We invite you to read personal stories from your neighbors and friends who have received the Gift of Sight, as well as the tributes to those who became donors.
